Oh, some people interpret the bible this way; its kind of a strict 
interpretation.

excuse me, the bible does not teach against folks buying 500 dollar shoes if
that is what they want and they do not cause their family to go poor or
without food, how silly to generalize that way, if a person has the money to
buy something it is not wrong for them to do so if they feel it is ok, do
you hate rich people too Joshua? do you think all people with money should
not buy the things they like if they can afford them? how judgemental of
you, i have to buy 25 dollar shoes if i can afford and want to buy 100
dollar shoes because you think the Bible tells me i can't.
