Joshua,
Is this history book a textbook? Sounds like it. In my studies, I never
heard Luther
disagree with that interpretation of communion. Methodists believe it
symbolizes the body and blood of Christ too.

According to the afore mentioned book, "The Reformation, a History,"
by Pattrick Collins, (copyright, 2003,) Luther condemned the doctrine
that you actually partook of the body, and blood of Christ.
Why then, do those people call themselves Lutherans, when he condemned
that doctrine?
Blessings, Joshua
