Hi all,

I finally found and read Corinthians 11. It says that a man should not cover his head. a woman should cut her hair or cover it
It said “Every man who prays or prophesies with is head covered dishonors his head. And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head.” There is a little more in the followinv two or three verses. This is in the first part of the chapter.

I might research a little as I’m curious. What did people do with hair at the time? Perhaps Paul did not mean this literally.
My initial search suggests that at the time women shaved their heads. Paul taught against this.
He says women should cover their hair by keeping it long or covered.

I don’t know where it speaks of clothes such as pants. I am sure Joshua can tell us though.
I’ll also look at Romans and see if it discusses this sort of stuff.

I think that pants are fine. They don’t look like guy’s pants. I am aware that men didn’t wear them in Bible times, as they were not around then; well maybe some form of trousers, but not the slacks/jeans we know of today.
I do not think men and women should dress alike. IMO, women can dress nicely without looking immodest or like men.

Some Orthodox Christians adhere to this though; like covering their head and not wearing makeup or jewelry. This link explains some of it.
