Nickie,
I think it's important to remember that everyone, even pastors and
ministers, need help. And, while we all don't have formal
seminary/ministerial training, I think there's always a place for us
to help spread the love of God and strengthen those in our own
churches and faith groups. We all need help, and we all have a unique
capacity to help others. In the Book of Mormon, which I believe to be
scripture along with the Holy Bible, there is a charge to mourn with
those that mourn, comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and
bear one another's burdens. And I'm sure, whatever your
circumstances, God's given you a great chance to do just that...maybe
pray that he'll direct you to the places he would have you go and the
people he would have you touch.
Just a thought, hope that helps.
