Nicki,
I have found it hard to get in to the group at church sometimes. It took
me over a year to finally get in to a group at church, actually I am in
three groups this semester, I go to a study of the book of Daniel on Tuesday
morning which is a womens study. The lady i ride with and I were talking a
few weeks ago and I told her i wanted to get back in to small groups with
godly men in it, i missed that from the studies i was in when i lived on the
island.
we joined two more small groups that have couples as well as a few single
folks, mostly women, in them.
I have always wanted to do missions work but i feel it is not the season in
my life to do so so i am praying about it.
in regard to knowing your gifts, have you ever doen a spiritual gift
inventory? there is one on intouch.org if you want to try that, we did one
at a church i belonged to about 15 years ago, it was interesting t find out
what my gifts were and then pray abot how God wanted me to use them.
I will be praying for you that God will give you clear guidance as to what
you should do, Jeanette
