[Faith-talk] my intro

Greg,
Thanks. Sounds like Optasia ministry has a variety of stuff.
Having .rtf is not my preference, but it will do for access.
I prefer books in audio by human readers or in braille.
Still, I'll check into everything. Sometimes I'm able to save text files to
a thumb drive and put in my Braille Note to read. The BN is old and
sometimes won't cooperate. So I'm thinking of getting a card reader where I
can save things to SD cards from the computer. Its easier to deal with sd
cards than usb drives in the BrailleNote.

Thanks.

Hi Ashley,
The AG center for the blind does produce AG materials but they produce a lot
of non AG stuff too. One of their big projects was the Chronicles of Narnia
in braille and with tactile graphics.

Optasia ministry's website is http://www.optasiaministry.org/
They will send you a DVD with their entire library on it. You don't have to
return the DVD. You are allowed to use the materials for yourself but
cannot distribute them to others etc. They are mostly in rtf format so you
need a screen reader to read them. They have a wide variety of stuff, from
classic Christian literature, current devotional material, and all kinds of
stuff for in depth bible study. Their resources were extremely helpful for
me as I completed my degree at seminary.

Hope these resources are helpful.
