Another great resource is the ministry of the late Peter Marshall Jr., the 
son of the famous U.S. Senate chaplain, whose biography, "A Man Called 
Peter" by his wife Catherine, was written.  Go to

concentrated on the Christian history of this country and wrote at least two 
books with his partner David Manuel, "The Light and the Glory" and "From Sea 
To Shining Sea." The first is available from Care Ministries on tape from 
Starkville MS and the second is from Bartimaeus Library for the Blind in 
Brooklyn Center MN.  Paul
