Andrew,
That's too bad.  You should write your elected officials about your 
concerns. And if there is  a consumer advocacy group like NFB, maybe they 
can help you. I'm assuming services have gone down due to funding. We face 
these challenges too. When they want to cut funding its for services for 
blind and disabled people. But NFB fought to keep some such as defending the 
NLS talking book budget and fighting for separate  agencies for the blind.

I hope things improve; its sad that the whole world seems to be going 
through political and economic trouble now.
But I'm optomistic things will improve.

Hi faith talk

I read a comment from joshua that said things are really gone down
hill in canada as far as the blind or blind services in canada.

The cnib first of all is really gone down hill ever since i first
signed up with them wich was when i was a child.
There are allot of programs that have been cut out.
Just because the web site says all it says does not mean it is up to
date because I have seen orginizations in canada that have not updated
their web sites and things.

In another orginization  called CCb a computer course got cut out they
used to have and things like that.  So you have to igknolleege the
perdicument i am in and things.
