Hi all,
Books I might want to read are probably not produced in braille or audio form.
We all know it takes a while to get produced in alternate format, if its done at all.
Sometimes there’s audio books at Christian music and bookstores. I wonder if audible.com has Christian material. That might be an option.
Ocassionally ministries produce an audio version of their book but that is rare.
So if I buy a hard copy book and want it produced in audio or braille, where do I send it?
Anyone done that and what is the turn around time? Its been my experience that if I want something recorded, its free, but if I want it transcribed to braille, it costs money; I’ve done that for one textbook and a few secular books.
I’ve had several texts recorded and was impressed with what was RFB&D.
I know about National braille press and learning ally, but I thought they only did secular material and texts.
I am thinking of reading some of David Jeremiah’s books; he runs Turning Point ministries.
Thanks.
Ashley
