praise and worship songs are contemporary Christian songs. I like them too.
They come out out on the Wow cds.

Some Christian rock is great. It's like all music there is some good some
bad. I have favorite songs and I like certain types of christian music most
preferrably praise and worship songs. Ashley, do y ou sing in your church
music.

ddon't agree. The contemporary Christian music is in all keys; some high,
others medium or low.
Their guys, ladies, or a mix. For instance Casting Crowns is men and they
sing in a low key.
Also Mercy Me is another group and I did not hear high notes there. I
don't
really have a favorite group, but I do have favorite songs.
I cannot always match the high pitch of the ladies, but I'm not the best
singer anyway. Singing is definitely for everyone.
That is why there are usually different keys to sing in and in a choir
there
are different parts; some do soprano, others alto or baritone.
But what I cannot stand is so called Christian rock; that to me has to go
and I do not find that at all sounding Christian; and the instruments are
so
loud that you cannot hear the lyrics.
Christian rock has come about to appeal to young adults like my age. But
it
certainly does not appeal to me!

Hey Debbie if I might capitalize on that last comment about singing
being for everyone. Yes gospel singing should indeed be for everyone,
but most contemporary worship or 7-11 songs are intended for high
sopranos. I've found that if I were singing southern gospel I can find
a harmony that fits my range even though I may be in the middle
between baritone and bass. But at the church I won't be attending when
I move out, they sing contemporary music which is way harder for me to
fit in with. Joshua is right; 7-11 songs have got to go.
