Joshua,
I don't know about the rest of the folks, but I'm getting kind of annoyed.
First, you sent 15 messages to the list in like 2 hours or less! I'm guilty
of that too, but I spoke on multiple subjects. Second, I don't know how you
have time to know all these bible teachers and preachers; as a full time
student, I was busy with reading and term papers. For those of us who don't
know these names you ramble off, it would be nice if you said who they were.
What are they affiliated with? I like what Jeannette said about not
following one doctrine or teacher blindly.
Without some context or background, names are just names.
Thirdly, you rattle off names and ideas that have nothing, I mean nothing,
to do with in this Case RC Sproul.
It would be nice if you at least changed subject lines.
I don't like it when people start going on in ten different directions under
a thread, that was not meant for that. In this case, I wanted to find out
who and what RC Sproul had to offer! Also I tried to tie it to accessibility
and blindness wich, remember
is what this list was for: faith and blindness!

We can share facts like Jeanette did: that RC Sproul is a Calvinist in the
Presbeterian church what he thinks.
But inserting judgemental facts or opinions like saying he is a false
teacher is not right. BTW, I don't think God decides who goes to hell before
we are born though.

I think we should hear different preachers and decide from there.
To quote myself.
I'm pretty open to faith. I don't believe in what every preacher says. Nor
do I subscribe to any one doctrine associated with one church branch. I grew
up Methodist, but I think now I'm just a Christian and listen to several
preachers.

Being vrain washed is not good; be careful.
Ashley

Also, John Hagee has some great insight.
I don't agree with all of his doctrine, but his messages about Israel,
and about prophesy are second to none.
I respect Brother Wilkerson, and I really loved reading his book about
Mickey Cruz.
Blessings, Joshua
