Hello and good evening to you all, at least for those of us residing in North America. Did you have a good time in the Lord today? I hope so, as the undersigned surely did.

My message to you this evening is based on the words of a nearly forgotten hymn or Gospel song, the author of which I do not know, but at one time I had an old Victor recording of it, made in at least 1913 as the flip side of this old 78 r.p.m. record contained the song "In the Garden," written in that year. Sadly I don't have the recording anymore, but it was sung by Homer Rodeheaver, the song leader for Billy Sunday's revival meetings. Maybe one of you who are more savvy in Internet research can come up with the desired information on the song. Here is the chorus of the song "When the World Forgets."

Jesus remembers, He remembers you;
All your friends may fail you, He is always true.
He will heal your broken heart, burdened with regrets;
Jesus still remembers, when the world forgets.

I hope that these words ministered to you as you retire for the night and that, in spite of any difficulties you may be going through, "Jesus still remembers when the world forgets." I can play the melody, as it is etched indelibly in my mind and consciousness. I've never heard it on the radio as far as I can determine, even on stations that seem to play old and/or rare songs like this. Again, if any of you can find the author of both lyrics and music, I would be very grateful. And now may our loving Heavenly Father and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, along with the ever-present Holy Spirit, just bless you and keep you safe throughout the night. Your Christian brother, Paul Barnabas
