[Faith-talk] Comments

Hello Jenny and everyone,

I was merely just listening to comments, but wanted to jump in to
say what most everyone else said. Use whatever travel method you feel
comfortable with. As for not being able to afford a cane, the NFB has a free
cane program. The only requirement is that, if you order one, you have to
wait six months after the first order to get one. I have had two canes
through the Free Cane Program, and so far, they are holding out. Whatever
happens stay safe, and you will be in my prayers, too.

thanks for the kind word.

The canes that the state provides can have the roller ball tip, but they are
the heavy metal canes and even with a roller tip on it, it became too heavy
to comfortably use today as I was lost due to a GPS error.

the long straight canes that are free have the standard NFB cane tip, which
you can't really drag on the ground without it catching on everything and I
can't afford to buy a cane at the current time.

Thanks for your encouraging words and thank you for your prayers.

obstacles, though I have not been injured there in a very long time. I'm not
often in areas where that's a problem, except for an occasional hanging tree
branch with leaves on it. Each O&M tool has its advantages and
disadvantages, and we just have to pick the one or ones that help us the
