sorry i haven't been writing. things are a bit calmer, but we are in 
the waiting stage of everything now. curtis was able to find a 
cardiologist that would take his insurance wednesday. The dr. examined 
him and agreed that he will need surgery, but he wants to do all the 
tests over again to see exactly what needs to be done. curtis will have 
a test monday and another test wednesday of next week. not sure how 
fast they will move after that.
his dr does feel more than likely, he will have to undergo open heart 
surgery and will more than likely have to have valve replacement.
pray with us that god gives us and dr. and all others involved the 
propper plan of action. pray that curtis will not get any worse. as of 
now, his heart i think is only at a 45 percent capacity. he is very 
tired, has breathing issues, doesn't really want to eat, stays cold all 
the time. his blood circulation is very poor because of his valve not 
pumping correctly. i believe they said that his mitro valve is 
regorgitating which means something like the blood is being pushed into 
the lungs which fill up with blood/mucus.
pray for us as we still try to figure out the plans ahead. i would like 
to be there with him as much as possible, especially for several days 
after surgery. we need to line up babysitters etc.
pray for th e kids also as we try to finish up schooling and get the 
test maybe out of the way. we don't know how much time we have before 
curtis goes to the hospital.
pray for the surgery to go exceedingly well and recovery to be a lot 
faster and easier than expected. pray that the heart/valve is not too 
damaged. he has had 2 other open heart surgeries, 7 stints put in, and 
about 7 or so heart attacks already!!!! his heart has been through 
quite a beating!!!!
also, pray that the dr will be very careful during surgery since 
curtis's lung is still exposed from the last open heart surgery. the 
last surgeon didn't put the lung completely back. the lung is not under 
all the tissues etc it is supposed to be under.
