Hello and good evening to all my fellow saints of the Most High God residing in North America. Soon it will be time to retire for bed, or at least for us east coasters and possibly those of you in the central time zone in both the U.S. and Canada, depending on when you read this message. If you should read it in the morning, well, I can't help that. Nonetheless I'm assuming that most of you will read this before you go to bed.

Our inspirational lines for this evening come from the pen of Edna Abbott. Although relatively short in comparison with last night, it is the hope and prayer of the undersigned that they will minister to you. The title of her poem is "The Apple of His Eye," and is rendered as follows:

I wonder if you realize
How much God cares for you.
He's not a politician,
For what He says is true.

His eyes run to and fro, my friend,
Throughout the whole wide earth
To care for those who follow Him,
No matter place of birth.

I guess it kinda blows my mind
That God loves us so much.
He watchers o'er us day and night
And gives His special touch.

If we have given the Lord our heart
We need not fear nor sigh,
For in His Book he tells us
We're the Apple of His eye.

And now let's retire or prepare to retire for bed in full confidence that our heavenly Father will be with us throughout the night. Your Christian brother, Paul Barnabas
