Hello,

I have a response to this post.

I have always been faithful as a child. I was brought up with faith.

My mother took me to one of those large healing things where there was a big production and such and I went up to be healed. I believed so strongly that I would get my sight for the first time. I would see like everyone else.

It didn't happen. I was disappointed as most children would be, and when I went to my preacher and friends with my disappointment, I was told that I obviously didn't have enough faith or I would've gotten my sight completely.

I also have had people lay their hands on me to try to heal me to the point where it was going on for an hour at least. Over and over again, they prayed for healing and then told me to open my eyes. When my sight didn't get better they would do it again. Over and over, to the point when I finally said that I could see better to make them stop.

It's not that people lack faith that they are not healed. It's just not Heavenly Father's time or will for that to happen yet. Those examples in the Bible happened because it was the will of Heavenly Father and Christ. No other reason.

Yes, you have to have faith for healing to occur, but sometimes, no matter how much faith you have, it's just not Heavenly Father's time for that yet.

There are healers that claim to be faith healers that do it for their own gain and fame. It has been shown on various exposae programs that they have people who were near sick in the first place to pretend to be healed to have people give them money and of course, fame.

I'm not at all saying I don't believe in the power of healing and the need for faith, but sometimes, more often than not, those kind of faith healers that make a big show and things of that nature set it up that people aren't really sick and then they pretend to be healed for profit.

I can see why people would make fun of some of them. I have even done it, only because I have been where some have stood. A little child with all the faith in my heart, and still, after all these attempts, not been healed, when some healers who make a big show and production out of it make millions and live lavish lives.

They use people's belief that they will be healed and that they are healing others to obtain riches.

Never forget the words of the Lord's Prayer, "thy will be done."

Just my feelings on the matter.
