We should think carefully about the things we say so that our
words can be a gift of encouragement to others. Our
family members and friends need encouraging words.


And whoever causes one of these little ones (these believers) who
acknowledge and cleave to Me to stumble and sin, it would be better (more
profitable and wholesome) for him if a [huge] millstone were hung about his
neck, and he were thrown into the sea. And such some of you were [once].
But you were washed clean (purified by a complete atonement 
for sin and made free from the guilt of sin), 
and you were consecrated (set apart, hallowed), 
and you were justified [pronounced righteous, by trusting] in the name 
of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the [Holy] Spirit of our God.
