The Lifestyle of Being Led by the Spirit
I walk to talk about the difference between the natural walk and the
Spiritual walk. (Rom 8:14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.
You can no longer be a part of this world. (Mat 6:24) No man can serve
two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else
he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and
mammon. (Mat 6:25) Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your
life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body,
what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than
raiment?(Mat 6:26) Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither
do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them.
Are ye not much better than they? (Mat 6:27) Which of you by taking
thought can add one cubit unto his stature? (Mat 6:28) And why take ye
thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they
toil not, neither do they spin:(Mat 6:29) And yet I say unto you, That even
Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.(Mat 6:30)
Wherefore, if
God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is
cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little
faith? (Mat 6:31) Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat?
or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (Mat 6:32)
(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father
knoweth that ye have need of all these things. (Mat 6:33) But seek ye
first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall
be added unto you.
If the devil could override the Word of God, then He would be making God
a mockery. (Gal 6:7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a
man soweth, that shall he also reap. (Gal 6:8) For he that soweth to his
flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit
shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
When we walk in relationship, we are always conscience of letting God do
leading. When you give God the opportunity, He will always lead you. We are
to seek His will.not ours. We are to always look for what Jesus would say.
not what we would say. (Mat 10:19) But when they deliver you up, take no
thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same
hour what ye shall speak. (Mat 10:20) For it is not ye that speak, but the
Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
The question here is: Are you hesitating before you act.. long enough to
allow God to be in charge? Or are you just plowing ahead your own way? A
few years ago someone came out with the saying, "What would Jesus do? They
made bracelets, necklaces, signs, etc. It was everywhere. WWWJD was
everywhere.. the purpose was to make you slow down and not yield to the
flesh. You are to do it by the Spirit of God; whatever it is.
When we are seeking God's will, He will tell us what we are to speak;
that is what God tells us to speak. When we are in relationship with the
father, we are always supposed to get our direction from Him. We want to
do everything His Way and in His will. (Mat 10:26) Fear them not
therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and
hid, that shall not be known. (Mat 10:27) What I tell you in darkness,
that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon
the housetops.
It is as simple as giving Him your heart. God knows the difference.when
it is your whole heart and when it is not. (Jer 29:13) And ye shall seek
me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
When we have filled our heart with the treasure of His Word, then in the
hour that we need it, the Word is what will come out of us. Of course, it
can then be led by the Holy Spirit. If you haven't been in the Word what
you hear may or may not be of the Lord. You must compare the Word to the
scriptures which only comes through constantly feeding on the scriptures.
You will then find yourself speaking the Word (the will) of God. If you
are overbalanced in prophecy and not feeding on the Word of God, you will
end up deceived. It is then you opened the devil for a spirit of
deception. (Mat 12:35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart
bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure
bringeth forth evil things. (Mat 12:36) But I say unto you, That every
idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day
of judgment. (Mat 12:37) For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by
thy
words thou shalt be condemned.
You must be doers of the Word and not hearers only. You cannot say I
receive that Word and yet not act on it. You don't get to see if it comes
to pass and then believe. You must believe first. I was watching a
wonderful Christian movie recently. In this movie one section stood out to
me. A prayer warrior told this man a word and then began to explain to him
some wise words. He said two farmers were told it was going to rain. One
farmer prepared his field to receive the rain. The second farmer did
nothing. Which farmer was in faith? The one who prepared his field; of
course. (Jas 1:22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only,
deceiving your own selves. You can pray about a new job and never put out
a resume' or you could put many of them out. Which is preparing his field
for rain?
The example of Jesus was that He never sought His own way, but the way of
the Father. (Joh 5:30) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I
judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the
will of the Father which hath sent me.
Our words are cleansed by the washing of the Word. (Eph 5:26) That he
might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
When we are babies, we have not learned to be grounded in the Word of God
as yet. However, we must grow up sometime. (Heb 5:13) For every one that
useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Once we have made it a practice to live the lifestyle of the child of God
who walks in the Spirit and not in the flesh and grounded in the word of
God; we realize how important the daily feeding of the Word of God is. We
received a general knowledge and grounding in the Word of God. However,
never learned it all. We must be ever learning and ever feeding on the
live Word of God. (Heb 5:14) But strong meat belongeth to them that are
of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to
discern both good and evil.
There is a point where you have been doing it so long God's way that when
it is not God's way it is totally foreign to you. It is totally
unacceptable when it is not God's way.
Example: Years ago when I would hear them say four letter words on
television or a movie, I would hardly even notice it. Now if they start
talking trash, I just turn it off. I don't want that in my Spirit. When
bad things are happening around us the child of God, then good things are
happening for you. (Rom 5:20) Moreover the law entered, that the offence
might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
The difference between the natural man and the spiritual man is their
relationship with the Father. Have you accepted Jesus? Is He the Lord of
your life? Are you allowing Him to lead your life? (1Co 2:14) But the
natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are
foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are
spiritually discerned.
Once you have developed that relationship with the Father, He will teach
you what you are to say. (Exo 4:12) Now therefore go, and I will be with
thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
Our example is Jesus who was led into the wilderness for a time of
testing. The point is the Holy Spirit led Him into the perfect will of
God. The Holy Spirit will lead us into His perfect will as well. (Luk
4:1) And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was
led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
In Him,

This is our way of passing the offering plate as we give you this
information to give both/either tithes and offerings to this ministry. If
you are fed by Daily Golden Footprints, it is right to give to Daily Golden
Footprints. You may send your seeds of faith via www.PayPal.comor write to
Daily Golden Footprints, 211 Northgate, Waxahachie, Tx 75165.
We come into agreement with you as you name that seed gift, in Jesus
name. He gives seed to the sower and multiplies it back to you. Ask him
to give you seed to sow or show you where you already have seed to sow.
(Isa 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it
shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The seeds you plant into this ministry help us as we minister the Word of
God using every media which we can. Father, multiply each seed sown back
to the giver, 30, 60, and 100 fold, in Jesus name as well as meeting the
needs of Daily Golden Footprints. Amen.
