Hello and good day to you all. Well, here in North America, it's already dark as the sun has set over the eastern and central parts of our continent, but in the mountain and Pacific time zones, as this is being written, you've got a bit of time left. How was your day today? Mine was good. For the rest of you, I hope that your Tuesday will go well, especially if you live in Britain or on the European continent. On the other hand, you who live in Australia or New Zealand are hopefully enjoying a pleasant Tuesday afternoon.

Oran W. Donner contributed today's words of inspiration for this evening. I feel in my spirit that his words will minister especially to some, if not all, right now who read his words. Entitled "Assurance," it is rendered as follows:

Are there times when life's struggles
Seem too much to bear,
All your work's never finished
And you don't even care?
The whole world has gone crazy
With sadness and despair,
And you've almost decided
That God isn't fair.

But there's no need to worry
And nothing to fear,
In God's Word He has promised
To always be near.
He will strengthen and guide you
Each step of the way,
You need only to trust Him,
Have faith as you pray,
And you'll have the assurance
Of comfort and love,
A home with the Savior
In Heaven above.

And there you have it for now. By the way, one last appeal: I haven't received any old but usable bedsheets yet from anyone. If you've ever used dryer sheets for bed coverings, you know what I mean. It's not very comfortable, but they sure smell good. Anyway if you've got one or more bedsheets that are usable and you wish to discard, just send them my way. Thanks. (You know that I'm speaking tongue in cheek).

And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, throughout this night or day and especially in these last evil days in which we live. For those of you in North America, may you have a peaceful and restful sleep tonight, and I'll try to do the same despite sleeping on dryer sheets. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
