Hello and good evening to you all, at least evening in North America. For the rest of you, your day is either getting underway such as those who reside in Europe or the UK, or if you live in Australia or New Zealand, you're in your afternoon as this is being written. However will focus on North America as this is where I live. Hope that your day went well. Mine did, despite the rain and the damp weather, but I know that, in God's matchless grace and His providential care, as the old saying has it, "This too shall pass."

Celeste Nadine Gallucci's words of inspiration this evening are primarily for those of us who perhaps, for one reason or another, don't have the relationship with Jesus that we would desire. Her poem can also be used as a witnessing tool for your unsaved friends who might be longing to know Jesus, but perhaps are a little hesitant about this new life in Christ. Believe me, I was that way before accepting Him almost 35 years ago. Anyway the title of her poem is "Are You Longing?", and is rendered as follows:

Are you longing to know Jesus?
He's waiting, by your door,
Open up your heart,
Oh, friend, I now implore.
Are you longing for a place
Of everlasting day?
Let Jesus in for eternal life,
He's the only way.

He can renew a sin-sick soul,
Heal a broken heart,
Give assurance of salvation,
Redemption's joy to start.
Are you longing for this joy?
Accept the Lord today,
He'll pardon you and forgive you
And take all your guilt away.

And there you have it for this evening. And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, throughout the night and especially in the last days in which we live.

Before I close this good night message, I must express my profoundest thanks for all of you who prayed for my Outlook Express situation. All of you, in a phrase that is used in Esperanto, are "veraj gesamideanoj, whose meaning is experiential rather than dictionary-defined, but the literal meaning of the phrase is "true members of the same idea." Maybe that makes no sense to anyone here, but I know that the Holy Spirit can take what I've written and tell you its exact meaning.

And now, as we retire to bed, let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. Your Christian brother, Paul
