Hello and good evening to my fellow saints of the Most High God residing in North America. For those of you living elsewhere in this God-created world, I hope your day is going well. I realize that if you live in Britain or on the European continent, that it's in the middle of the night as I write this. How did your day go? I hope well. Mine did.

To continue the theme of mothers and motherhood, our inspirational poetic words this evening come from the writings of Sophie Kleeman, yet again another author that I've never heard of before. Perhaps one of you have heard of her and, if so, would like to know something about her life etc. Anyway her contribution for this evening is entitled "Blessed Are My Children," and is rendered as follows:

My children are a blessing,
A special gift from God;
Each day I pray His guidance
As the road of life they trod.

Each one has special talents,
Each one a special goal,
May the threads that weave their destinies
Mesh tightly to their souls.

These children are my progress;
On this earth they shall bestow
All the majesty and splendor
Of life's furtherance to grow.

Dear God, this earnest longing
In my heart, I ask of Thee,
Guide their footsteps firmly onward
On Your path, with love and peace.

In thinking about these words, they sound a lot like my late Mom's sentiments for the undersigned and his two brothers. I can't hide it from God and I can't speak for George and Lou, my two brothers who unfortunately don't know the Lord, but I miss my mom terribly. However, she did live a long and fulfilling life, for which I thank our heavenly Father.

And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe throughout the night and especially in the last days in which we live. This is the earnest desire, hope and prayer of your Christian brother, Paul
