Hi all,
As the east coast is bracing for a hurricane, I hope everyone stays safe. Stay indoors whether at campus or home. If the electricity goes out, it is wise to unplug major equipment such as computers, tvs, and stereos to prevent a power surge.

As for my family we have a generator for back up electricity should it go out and we have food that does not need refrigeration and of course batteries.
We don’t need AC or heat, but we are concerned about keeping our food so that is where our generator comes in.
We will get the end of it, not like Northern Va is in the eye of it, but still, the old town alexandria nearby is known for floodding.
I’m praying we all stay safe without too much disaster.

Stay safe and I hope we all get through it alright.
Ashley
