Hello and good evening, morning or afternoon to all my fellow saints of the Most High God, and good evening again to my fellow North Americans. How was your day today? Mine was good. I had a chance to go to a Bible study at a local Bible Presbyterian church which was very good. The discussion was on God's omnipotence, omniscience and omnipresence with many Scriptures to back up each part. This was not my regular Wednesday Bible study group, but it was still good nonetheless.

As you all probably know, this will be the last Good Night message until I return which will be on Tuesday, September 25 from my trip to Pittsburgh. However I won't go no-mail, as I want to read all the good devotions and other inspirational posts that you all post to the various lists which I am on.

Grace R. Ballard contributes today's poem. Continuing the theme of autumn or fall, her submission is entitled "Autumn Told Me," rendered as follows:

I wandered up a long hill path
That climbed toward flaming sunset skies;
Where wild grape tangles tinged the air
With musty sweetness; there arise
The yellow aspen and scrub oak,
Hovering small life with meager shade;
While rifting through the taller pines
Thin shafts of slanting sunlight played.
Softly the haze of harvest air
Prophesied the winter's sleep;
Flaming sumac and goldenrod
Vied with the color of bittersweet,
As if to hoard that which summer lost
To the grasping fingers of early frost.

Thanks to Grace for her contribution this day.

And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, throughout this night or day and especially in these last days in which we live. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
