No, this carol was written, words and music respectively, in 1849 and 1850,
so neither "Go Tell It On the Mountain" nor "Do You Hear What I Hear?"
qualify. Besides, the carol I have in mind is perhaps much more well known
than those two in some circles. I tell you all what: If no one comes up
with the correct answer by sometime this evening, I'll tell you, and then
I'll hear some of you say, "Oh, but why didn't I think of that?" Paul
