Hello out there, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of our heavenly King-Father and saints of the Most High God. No doubt you're wondering why I'm posting the Daily Thought message so early. Well, the answer is simple. This afternoon, Lord willing, I'm going to a three-hour country music concert at the Lerman Woodland Theater, an outdoor venue with room for about 200 people to sit around the stage in folding chairs that the audience provide for themselves, and thus won't be around for the usual time for this post. Hence the early post.

I don't know if I've sent you this rather brief article before or not. Certainly there are some who haven't read it before. And you think that your computers are amazing? Just take a look at the article presented here. Entitled "How Big Can You Think?" by Sheila Schuller Coleman, it is rendered as follows:

Our brains are capable of BIG thinking! You and I have giant brains! "A healthy, well-functioning neuron can be directly linked to tens of thousands of other neurons, creating a totality of more than a hundred trillion connections, each capable of performing 200 calculations per second! This is the structural basis of your brain's memory capacity and thinking ability." (The Franklin Institute)

God created our brains with the amazing capacity to think, create, dream, and communicate with God. The human being is the only species on earth that is capable of talking to and hearing from God.

Even so, our brains are not big enough to comprehend how big God is! God is bigger than we are capable of comprehending. He is an awesome, amazing God.

Take time today to use that giant brain of yours to think about God and how big He is. Take time to use your unique ability to talk to Him and listen to His voice. You will know His voice. His voice is always positive, loving, encouraging. This giant God cares for and loves you! Think about that!

And there you have it for today. When I read this article originally, I couldn't help think of Genesis 1:27 and the fact that God created us, yes you and me and the countless billions of people on this planet, in His image and likeness. Now here's a challenge to those computer gurus out there with the megabucks: Create a computer with the same capacity as the human brain. It just can't be done, right? And for that, I'm glad.

And now until tomorrow when, Lord willing another daily thought will be sent your way, may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
