has your father professed faith and been baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of his sins? if not, i’m sorry to say, he’s in danger of not making it to heaven. 
 see john 3:18. 
 of corse i’ll be praying for your family. 
 but do this, ask your father if he knows  the lord. it could be that he straid away from god’s will and now regrets what he’s done. i don’t know. it’s sad though, so many people profess to being a believer in the lord Jesus Christ but doesn’t study or practice the ways of the lord. something has to change. you know, there’s a reason why i don’t call myself a christian. sure, i use to but when i realised how many denominations there are of said faith, i would rather be known simply as a follower of the 1 true god Jesus Christ. 
 ask your dad if he knows the lord. ask him if he’s been baptised in the name of Jesus Christ.
