[Faith-talk] Update on My Dad

Hi All,

Donna (my step-mom) was waiting for his doctor to call her, but he 
never did. So she called me back, and said that they moved Dad to a 
different room with a bigger monitor so that they could take better 
care of him. My brother Glenn and sister-in-law Sue went to visit him 
tonight; they brought him a cell phone charger that would work on his phone.

Anyway, Donna gave me the room number, so I called Dad and talked for 
a couple minutes. He's still girgling, and it's hard to understand 
him because he doesn't have his false teeth in. I'm thinking he 
doesn't have his hearing aids in, either, because he couldn't hear 
everything I said. I told him that we all prayed for him at church 
last night, and he said that must be why he was feeling so good today.

Of course, he's not out of the woods yet, but he isn't near death, 
either, as far as we can tell. I'm sure Donna will tell me what his 
doctor says.
