Hello and good day to you all. I trust that this Tuesday finds you all doing well or, if you live in Australia and New Zealand, a very good Wednesday to you all.
Before I get into the Daily Thought contribution for today, I'd like to give you the answer to Sunday's weekly Bible game. If you still have it in one of your folders, you just might want to take a look at the relevant Scriptures, whether in audio or written format. The answer is Amos 3.
For the next several days, if you don't mind, I'm going to lay on you some poems that deal with, what else?, the subject of the spring season. Oh yes, I know that you in New Zealand and parts of Australia are in your fall or autumn season, so I hope you folks don't mind.
Inez Franck is the author of today's contribution entitled "When Faith Is Strong," rendered as follows:
My faith is strong when tulips bloom
And robins sing in dogwood snow,
When paths are flaked with whitest plum
And sunbeams make the pansies grow.
The world is new because He touched
The fragrant lilacs by the gate;
The iris buds are washed with rain,
And everywhere the crocuses wait.
My faith is strong when I receive
His blessed message in the spring;
My heart awakes to love and light,
For beauty is a cheerful thing.
And there you have Sister Inez's contribution which, although written many years ago, hopefully was a blessing to you, especially if you can still see or maybe even have some visual recall.
And now may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live. Lord willing, tomorrow there will be another Daily Thought message for you. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
