Hi Paul, you know, I am so grateful for all the thoughts that you 
send.  But I have always loved Brother Lawrence.  I have not 
achieved his practicing the presence of God, but I see it as a 
goal worth working toward.  I just get so caught up in so many 
things.  And our culture is so noisy that it is difficult.

Again, thank you! I know there was a book written and I think it 
was called Brother Laurie or something like that.  I got it from 
Xavier Society a long time ago.  It was written as a novel, on 
of, about this Brother who lived in a modern-day monastery and 
worked in a hospital in the kitchen.  I no longer have the book, 
but definitely wish I did.  If anyone has read this book and 
remembers the title, could you let me know? I'm sure XSB doesn't 
have it anymore, but perhaps it's on Bookshare.  Thanks, and
