At last I'm back online, thanks to the Lord, His guidance with my local computer specialist and, of course, your prayers. Hope this "fix" will last more than 15 seconds. I think you know what I mean by that.

Last week we were in the Old Testament, and today we will be giving you one of Alvy Ford's poems based on a book and chapter from the New Testament. Hope you have your biblical thinking caps ready because here we go!

Suffer you not as a thief or a blight.
Suffer instead as the children of light.
Judgment must start at the household of God.
Righteous will scarcely escape from the rod.

And there you have it for this week. If someone else posted this poem I'm fairly sure that I'd get it, but what about you?

One thing I'd like to ask of each individual who receives these trivia poems. When you hear the answer either posted by the undersigned or someone else and you didn't get it beforehand, get your Bibles in whatever version or method of reading/listening and peruse the chapter yourself. In this way maybe you who for whatever reason are casual Bible readers will hopefully delve more deeper into God's Word, which is the main purpose for posting these little ditties, and only secondarily to have a bit of fun in the process. God will thank you for your efforts, and I will also but that being secondary.

And now until tomorrow when, Lord willing the Daily Thought messages will be resumed, may the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob just keep us safe, individually and collectively, in these last days in which we live. Your Christian friend and brother, Paul
