[Faith-talk] recommended books

Hi everyone,
If you liked The Shack, the same author, William Paul Young wrote another book called Crossroads…it was amazing and really touched me deeply. It starts out slow, but bare with it and it gets really really good.

Also, Beverly Lewis wrote books all about the Amish, so her books are Christian as well and really touching.

As for Heaven is for Real, I don’t know how that was debunked. That book/movie was talked about on The 700 Club, and reading the book, I see nothing that is unscriptural. I recognized God in it, as for Ninety Minutes in Heaven. Sure, there may be some brain imagination stuff going on, but I think it is the message of the thing, not the minor details that matter. However god chooses to touch us in NDE’s is His business alone.

God bless.
Christine

I am a bit of a history buff, so I was very interested in the stories he told of his 60 years of ministry around the world and the foundations on which his faith has been based, but it's not for everyone. I would also highly recommend "the shack," "90 minutes in heaven," and "Heaven is for real."
