Hi
Okay as far as remotes when I was a quad we couldn't find the remote 
anywhere.  My pca was laying me down and we realized that unbeknown to me 
because of no sensation, I'd been sitting on it.  So a couple of months 
later when again we couldn't find it my husband said, "Wiggle your behind 
and see if the channel changes."

That's funny Debby, it is the opposite in my house, the remote is welded to
