[Faith-talk] developmental delay among the blind

I've just always been god socially, but one thing I have consciously worked
on is listening and paying attention. You can be good socially, but if you
don't know when to be good, when to make your joke, and don't remain aware,
you fall flat more often than you should. I've learned to listen more; I've
got two ears, and one mouth.

social situations. I pride myself in being socially-aware, to the point that
many people say that they forget I am blind. I don't really think it has to
do with me going blind at four as opposed to at birth, because it's not
really old enough to pick up on all the social cues. I just think it was
always important to me to figure out how the world works, and interact with
it as a sighted person would, in order to break down that divide as much as
possible.
