Hi Vejas
I'm not that familiar with the terms but I think it is a compliment saying
you are wise in the way you treat people.

Subject: [Faith-talk] What is an "old soul?"
Hi All,
I'm really curious about a term that I have heard. One of my
parents once called me an old soul because I am empathetic and
like to help others. I once told that to one of my most trusted
teachers, who actually said she believed that I had a young soul.
I can see that too, since I still have a lot to learn as I grow
older and am willing to try new ideas.
I'm wondering if you think the terms have any real meaning
though. Are there certain types of souls that God chooses for
each person?
Just curious what your take on this term is.
Vejas
