Hello folks. I've got a praise report to share with you.
As some of you know, I have decided to change churches, not because the preaching was bad or wrong or even the music was inappropriate, but because those members of the congregation seemed somewhat distant and didn't want to engage in fellowship during the week. Well, I sent out an email to Jason Meyerson, pastor of Calvary Morning Light, and he heartily welcomed me to tomorrow morning's service. A little later I called my paratransit service here in Baltimore called Mobility. I didn't know if their service area extended to where the service was to take place, but, praise God it does! Not only that, but I didn't have to wait for very long before an agent came on the line to take care of my reservation. If any of you would like to hear Pastor Meyerson in an MP3 recording, point your browser to http://www.calvarymorninglight.org. If his Sunday morning messages are just as thorough as the Wednesday evening home Bible studies are any indication of his thoroughness, I know that I'll be in for a treat.
And one last thing: If you'd like to hear the little Calvary Chapel network that we used to be able to hear in Baltimore on our FM radio dial but can't now, just point your browsers to http://www.hopefm.net. The music is contemporary Christian but, in my opinion, very tasteful. Anyway just thought you all would like to know this, and hopefully, with the Lord's leading, I can stay here for some time and not have to go from church to church. As J.S. Bach used to write on the bottom of his religious oratorios and cantatas: "Soli Deo Gloria." Paul
