[Faith-talk] healing, blindness and other thoughts

I don't think that my blindness is any message from God.  I think 
stuff happens.  That's kind of all there is to it.  Do I think 
that God could heal me? Sure, but really my life is good.  I have 
sometimes wondered what I might have done differently if I had 
grown up sighted.  For instance, my brothers could have, but did 
not go to college.  Well, one of them could have.  The other 
never was into school stuff that much.  He isn't dumb, just 
wasn't really wired for books and all.  Me, I loved stories and 
books from the time I far put my hand on a Braille book.  (Grin).  
But would I have become a nurse? I was always interested in nurse 
books and stuff as a kid.  So I wonder sometimes if I'd have 
become a nurse or a paramedic or something like that.  Now that 
I'm 61 almost, it hardly matters really but it is a curiosity.
