Hi Christine, first of all, I agree with your very balanced 
approach.  It is very close to mine.  I know that many Christians 
do not believe that miracles are for today, and we could discuss 
that, but I don't think it would really be very edifying.  Most 
of the time when we get into theological discussions it just 
causes division, and I do not want the Holy Spirit, healing, 
tongues (speaking in), and all of that to be a source of division 
among us.

Now to you personally, I'm very excited that you are doing a Life 
in the Spirit seminar.  I spent many years in the Catholic 
Charismatic Renewal before I left the Catholic Church for awhile.  
I'm back now as a Catholic, and am thinking that perhaps I will 
go to the next Mass of Renewal, I think they call it now.  
Anyway, God bless you and I'll be praying for you as you continue
