Hi Ashley, well, my last job which was a temp job was in
manufacturing at Inland Northwest Lighthouse for the Blind. I
started out there teaching Braille. And then they offered me a
temp position. I took it, wanting more hours and more money. I
liked it, actually. But they laid me off on Oct. 17. I
actually was hoping that today would be my last day. But it
wasn't. So I'm looking in customer service. Most of the jobs
around here are in the health area. I really don't have a
background in the health care professions, but if I was a young
person trying to figure out where to go, I'd really suggest that.
Good computer skills are also very necessary. I have okay
skills. So we'll see what comes up. I could end up flipping
burgers at the local hamburger stand. (Grin).
Just got back from a walk with Neena and that always makes me
feel better. I need to walk every day, unless it's pouring or
snowing. And even then I probably should go out. It certainly
makes my disposition better. Blessings, Debby and Neena
