Hey Rex, Debby Phillips here.  Yes, I remember reading that 
article.  It is a great model for blind folks who want to get 
involved in church activities.

I just joined our Altar Society and am looking forward to helping 
with lunches for funerals, which is one of the things our Altar 
Society does.  I was right up front and told them that I hoped my 
blindness wouldn't be an issue for preventing me to help.  So I'm 
excited about being able to do stuff.    Blessings,    Debby and
