[Faith-talk] A Teistmony on Healing

About a month or so ago I had my first experience of somebody trying to heal my boyfriend and I. I was amazed that it wasn't an encounter like I have heard on the listserv. The three or four people that work together spoke with us and we explained that our disability was the least of our problems and ask them to pray for our job situation and transportation. The young man who addressed us first offered up a prayer for us just as we had asked rather than blessing us with regaining our sight. I don't know if it was because he noticed we were well-versed in the Bible and could defend ourselves or not. I pointed out that the Pharisees were more blind than we were. The group totally agreed!

I hope that how we handle this experience can give someone a quick idea in case they get stuck in one of those "healing" pickles where people aren't respectful.

His son Josiah was healed after diving into the shallow end of someone's pool when he was nine years old. Unfortunately I do not know how to copy the link to the video in this email.
