[Faith-talk] A Teistmony on Healing

Funny you should ask that Justin. I had been working on a speech about disability and poverty for an interfaith group of people in my community. Because I was aware of the Scriptures relating to people with disabilities and how Christ reacted, I could sway them into understanding that I was not any different and how Christ had hung out with all the outcasts it was OK to be different. They agreed with me that the Pharisees had more issues. I thought that was pretty funny. Being able to come back at them with scripture seems to help. I did it in a calm and social way so it was a conversation. I think I just got lucky that this person wanted to listen. This world is full of people who don't listen to anyone else except the tape playing in their head.
