Hello and greetings to you all on the last day of the traditional
workweek for those of you who are gainfully employed. Hope that all of
us are having a good day today, by God's matchless grace and His
providential care.
Here are today's two quotes for your consideration, pondering and reflection.
Parallel lines have so much in common it's a shame they will never meet.
My wife accused me of being immature. I told her to get out of my
fort. (quote compiler's comment: We only know _his side of the story.
Perhaps we should hear _her side of the story. For biblical support of
this idea, look in your Bible at Deuteronomy 19:16-19. My thanks go to
blind pastor Richard Wells of Simpsonville, TX, for this hint which he
gave me several years ago).
And there you have today's quotes, but stay tuned to the announcement.
>From noon to 1 PM eastern time today, if the Spirit moves, your
schedules permit and your computer connections work, you are cordially
invited to listen to a radio program called "This and That," broadcast
live over the facilities of the Radio Reading Network of Maryland,
though I'll be operating via telephone. The hour-long program will
consist of uplifting, encouraging and inspiring readings from various
sources, thus the name "This and That." If interested point your browser to
http://www.radioreadingnetwork.org
and click on the link where it says "listeners." I already have
commitments from at least two people outside of our area, namely a
listener in Arizona and a lovely young lady from Peterborough, Ontario
Canada. If you listen I hope the readings and my spontaneous comments
will be a blessing for you.
If for some reason you can't hear it live, you are more than welcome to
record the broadcast for later airing on your computers.
And that will do it for today. Until I either see you on your
computers or tomorrow morning when, Lord willing more quotes will be
presented, I am your obedient servant of the One who lived an earthly
existence, died to pay for your sins and mine, and now lives forever to
bring us His salvation and peace, Oil of Gladness.
