Hello and greetings to you all on a Saturday, at least it's a Saturday
for most of you as this message is being written. I hope that your day
is going well, by God's matchless grace and His providential care.

Here are today's quotes for your consideration, pondering and reflection.

Women only call me ugly until they find out how much I make. Then they
call me ugly and poor. (quote compiler's comment: I can just see
comments on this one from both sides of the aisle, so to speak.
Interestingly in yesterday's Christian Science Monitor under the
"World" section, someone made the comment that women do twice as much
as men do).

Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has
gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
