What made it so bad with this is that it said it was an E-book on the add.

Hi
I do Braille transcription from my home and ran into this problem recently
when I was transcribing a document for a church in Alabama. I ask customers
to email me things to be transcribed in Word because it is more efficient
and I don't have to charge them as much as when I transcribe something I
have to convert from pdf. Anyway this was a workbook covering Revelation
and another study on the Minor Prophets. I did Revelation just fine but
wrote back and said the Minor Prophets was missing. They resent it again as
a doc file in Word. But it appeared to be blank. I asked my husband to
check it out and he said it was the book but it was printed over an image.
I had to write back to the customer anBlessings Maureen Pranghofer d tell
them that I needed it without the picture, they were able to do this and it
worked fine, but if more places are doing this we won't know if even files
which have been spoken by our screen readers will work or not.

Hey POPPA Bear, I'm behind in email, but I have a suggestion.
You should contact the publisher of the book and explain your problem. They
may be able to get an accessible copy for you, plus they need to know why
their book won't work for blind folks.
This is part of the problem with no regulations, nothing to let publishers,
and Internet providers know what they need to do to have accessible books
and websites. At any rate, you should be
able to get your money back. Blessings, Debby
