Be patient. Peoples attitudes change over time. Someone has to offer the Olive branch and if you treat her with respect she will look like the fool. You are holding fast your promise to keep the 10 Commandments and honor thy mother and father. She says she's a Christian but treats even her son like that it is going to look wrong to others as well.
