[Faith-talk] Another preaching opportunity

Thank you guys for the prayers and encouraging words. Perhaps you guys are
my secret spiritual weapon. Tonight I was basically offered an assistant
pastor position at a small Church. He wants me to start attending his
congregation, getting to know more of the people and then if things feel
right: put a proposal before the congregation to higher me on. I need so
much prayer you would think that I was fighting terminal cancer, but in some
ways I am, I am fighting the cancers of fear, pride and worry. These things
haven't taken hold of me in a terrible way, but I want to keep them as far
from me as possible. I want to be able to serve God with courage, humility,
peace, faith and obedience.
Thanks for any prayers, even the silent ones that don't have words, only a
heartfelt desire that I would do His will
