Absolutely. My grandparents on my dads side did right up until they 
were called home. Grandma quilted and would pick up things for church 
and grandpa did the same or other light things that he could do. A lady 
at church, I'm not sure of her age, had a stroke several years ago but 
can still send out email from her ipad and hold Bible studies in her 
home so absolutely, as long as we are here we can encourage in some 
way. Happy birthday!
