I think she was from Oregon or Nebraska, I will see if I can find it online,
either case, she was truly inspirational.  I think she also stated she never
took sick leave with exception of when she had a surgery.

It seems like it is about outlook, mental attitude and a purpose.

Welcome.  I enjoyed your post.  I'm thinking that woman was a 
volunteer because I can't imagine the government paying her a 
regular salary at that age! What an encouragement for us!
