Hello and greetings to you all on this Friday as this message is being
composed. Of course you in New Zealand are about to enter into a brand
new day. No matter the time of day or day of the week it is in your
area, I hope that all is going well for you, by God's matchless grace
and His providential care.
Sorry folks, but there are no news tidbits for today. This reminds me
of the old Dutch proverb which states: "Many toil for a loaf, while a
slice is sufficient." Anyway here are today's quotes for your
consideration, pondering and reflection.
Only as we follow Christ can we lead others in the right direction.
God wants us to pray before we do anything at all. Oswald Chambers
(quote compiler's comment: I can vividly remember that, in my working
years, if I didn't pray for God's guidance on my activities at the
beginning of the day, inevitably something would happen to make a
particular portion of the day very unpleasant. However if I prayed
when I first woke up, things would go well. Did that ever happen to you)?
And that will do it for today. Until tomorrow when, Lord willing more
of the same will be posted, I am your obedient servant of the One who
lived an earthly existence, died to pay for your sins and mine, and now
lives forever to bring us His salvation and peace, Oil of Gladness.
