[Faith-talk] Louisiana Center for the Blind Location

Hi all,
Being a recent graduate of LCB, I can help with location. I am not sure of
mileage, the state of Louisiana is a cowboy boot with the toe of the boot
pointing to the right. The Mississippi River travels down the right side of
the boot and over the toes of the boot / state. Ruston, LA is north central
Louisiana (above the ankle of the boot) and of course west of the
Mississippi river. Oh and relatively speaking nowhere near the coast. It is
about two hours from the Mississippi River and about two and a half hours
from Jackson, Mississippi. Ruston is about five hour drive time from New
Orleans, which is in the toe of the boot and on the east side of the
Mississippi river and extremely near if not on the coast. Baton Rouge,
Louisiana is close to two hours drive from Ruston and you have to cross the
Mississippi river to drive to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Oh and Baton Rouge,
Louisiana is in the toe of the boot too.

I am dumb-founded and horrified on the recent uprising of evil acts we have
seen all over the United States and in France, Germany, Turkey, etc. I
implore all god fearing people to rise up and pray for all those affected by
these evil acts. May God's love and peace can be seen and received by all. I
know there is a designated day of prayer, but if there is any time we need
it now. Organize prayer meetings, organize prayer walks. We need to bath the
heavens with prayer to brighten the light to fill our communities to the
point that the light is blinding. Please join God's army and fight.

If I remember Ruston is near the coast, but I don't know for sure.

Louisiana. When Hurricane Katrina was ravaging New Orleans I remember
hearing that Shreveport LA was some 300 miles north of the Crescent City,
near the borders with Texas and Arkansas, so from north to south LA is quite
long, but I don't know the mileage from east to west. Paul, a somewhat
consummate geographer
